Did you tell them that you made love to the poet? Did you tell them that our lovechild is an elegy?

About This Quote

Did you tell them that you made love to the poet? Did you tell them that our lovechild is an elegy? The meaning of this quote is about the desire to get sympathy. That’s why I wrote this poem. I want to make people sympathize with us. I want all of you to feel for me, because it's hard to be alone after losing someone. You all know that I love him very much; he is the man of my life. I know that it seems like his death is not something that should ever happen, but…I feel like I'm all alone in this world… When no one understands you, or when you can't find anyone who will understand your pain, then your only option is to keep talking about your loss, no matter how difficult it may be. But if others around you are genuinely sympathetic for what you endure, then it makes it easier for you to bear your sadness and feel better. So if ever I fall into the river of despair again, then all I have to do is just smile and laugh. That will always help me go on.
