My two worlds were colliding and the friction of this set fire to my life. It was time to roast some wieners.

About This Quote

When we love someone we put everything into that relationship. We want to make them happy and we will do whatever it takes to see that they feel loved and cherished. When we fall in love, life becomes a magical experience and we feel like the luckiest person alive. The problem with love is that when you start loving someone, you want to make them happy.

You want to make them happy by giving them everything they need and you want to make yourself happy by showing them how much you care. But the danger in this system is that when things go wrong, you’re left trying to figure out what went wrong or if there was something you could have done differently. When things don’t work out, our expectations of how life should be can be dashed.

We start doubting our decision making process and wonder why some things happen the way they do.
