About This Quote
He did not make mankind in order to save it from sin. Man was not created for this purpose. God wanted mankind to be a free agent, able to choose between good and evil, and therefore to accept or reject his grace. In this context, man does not have a “free will” but a “free choice”.
God never forced salvation on humanity , but he offers us the opportunity of accepting or rejecting it. This is a condition which can be changed by man, but God never denies that he has the power to do so.
