This is a really interesting quote and one that I feel is very true. Society has a plan for every person and we must stay on that path or else we will find ourselves in a place that we don't like. If you are not doing what you are expected to do, then you are missing out on something great. When I was younger, I used to have no idea what I wanted to do with my life.
Instead of figuring it out for myself, I just followed everyone else blindly. That led me down the wrong path and ultimately ruined my life. The only way I could get out of it was by detaching myself from society's expectations.
All you have to do is ask yourself what would your life be like if you didn't have all the expectations put on you by the people around you?
