This quote goes to show that women were simply weak and vulnerable, while their male counterparts were the strong. This notion is just one of many that was thought and acted out throughout history and still today. The idea of a woman not knowing how to fight and the idea that they just need men to protect them. It is so absurd. Does this mean that women should never learn how to defend themselves? Of course not, but why do we have all these sexist notions in the first place?
