Real limitations can be reasonably challenged and expanded, but a hobbled mind is not going anywhere.

Bryant McGill
About This Quote

What the mind’s limitations are, is that it can only do so much. Although you can’t measure this, it’s something that you know in your heart. It’s also true that you can challenge these limitations by doing things that make your mind stretch. If you think about something for too long, the mind starts to rebel against itself by trying to rationalize why it can’t do some things. Instead of trying to rationalize beyond what its ability is, the mind should be trained to accept that it can only do so much and then training itself to get better at what it can do.
