There is a tension between different things in life. When we have things that are the same, there is no energy. The idea of energy is often not seen as a bad thing. It is seen as a way to get things done and get you moving in life.
However, when people get too caught up in the idea of energy, they forget the other things that make living a happy and successful life possible. In his book "A Confusion of Princes," Confucius said, "But there is no energy unless there is a tension of opposites." Confucius was pointing out that there can be no happiness without something to cause unhappiness.
