About This Quote

The best that could be left behind by any man: children who had been brought up to behave responsibly and to believe in something beyond their own self gratification. The people who I have become are the children of my parents, the grandchildren of my grandparents, and so on. And each one of my family members has left me something I cherish, which they themselves have cherished. Some have left me knowledge, some have left me skills, some have left me money, but they have also left me their love.

This is what I cherish most in all of them. It is the love that they have for one another which has made us strong and resistant to change.
