I've been so focused on state government, I haven't really focused much on the war in Iraq.

About This Quote

The war in Iraq has been going on for almost six years and there is still no end in sight. When George Bush decided to invade Iraq, he promised that it would be quick and that it would be done before the 2004 presidential election. That was a lie. He promised that we would be greeted as liberators and that we would be greeted as heroes when we left.

That was also a lie. We have been fighting for over six years and we will continue to fight until all of the Iraqi people are safe and at peace, wherever they may live.
