It’s a commonly expressed and rather nice, romantic notion that we are all “sisters” and “brothers.” It’s a nice idea because it promotes equality among people despite different skin colors, religions, genders, etc. The problem with the sentiment is that it is not entirely true. There are very real biological differences between people that are at least partly responsible for making us different. For instance, there are many different types of skin color.

Some people have very dark skin while others have much lighter skin. We all have eyes, noses, mouths, brains, etc., but these things are not the same for everyone because they are made up of different tissues.
