Freedom is the choice of daring life.

About This Quote

If you’re free, you’re living life as you want to. If you’re not free, then it’s a choice that you’re making, and deciding to do something over something else. When I was a kid, I used to think about this a lot. Was I really free if I was forced to do something? What would happen if I didn’t do what someone else wanted me to do? What would happen if I decided for myself what I wanted to do? In most cases, I knew what my parents wanted me to do, but I carried on with my own thoughts.

Even though they were wrong, they were my thoughts and choices from the start. So really, at least in my opinion, I was still free.
