She ran. Deeper, deeper into the mysterious Broceliande forest...

About This Quote

This quote is used to describe a girl that is chasing the boy she likes, and is running deeper and deeper into the forest. The girl has not yet realized that she might end up getting hurt, and is running too far away from the boy. We can all come up with a nice story for this, but there's actually an interesting little thing about this quote; it's an example of a "Fairy Tale Ending." In English, we use "to fall" as a verb (e.g., "she fell"), but it also means "to drop down."
