Jimmy: When you die, I die Sora: Wow, that's some serious relationship!

Shiro Amano
About This Quote

This is a profound statement, and one that my father passed on to me. This is a true statement, but also a very easy one to forget. It's easy to forget that we are connected when we die. It's easy to think of yourself as being whole when you have a partner who is whole with you, but the truth is, they are not.

We all die. We all have to pass on eventually, and even though my father is gone, I feel connected to him in a way that I never did before he died. I feel connected to him in a way that I never did when he was alive.

I know that when I die, he will still be around in some way. I know that even though we are separated by death, we are always connected through the love that holds us together in this life and in the next.
