A heart can only become fragile if unconditional self-love is continuously deprived from it.

About This Quote

A heart can only become fragile if unconditional self-love is continuously deprived from it. For a heart to become fragile, it needs to constantly be denied love by the person who is supposed to love it. If you constantly tell someone they are not good enough or that they are not worthy of love, that’s when heart can get damaged. When we saw ourselves through others’ eyes, we would never want to admit that we were hurting ourselves. We would fight and refuse to see the truth.
