Music is the soul of language.

Max Heindel
About This Quote

Music is the soul of language, the spirit of life. The best music has a universal appeal and can be enjoyed by all cultures. If I could choose one word to describe my life, it would be “song.” As a child, I loved to sing and dance – anyone who heard me would have been surprised by how good I was. My favourite singer was Annie Lennox.

She sang about love and happiness, just like me. Her voice made me feel happy, and her lyrics helped me to understand love. When I was a teenager, I had my own band with friends who also loved music.

They were not as talented as Annie Lennox but they were like brothers and sisters to me. With the blues in our blood, we became friends with other bands who shared that passion for music. Nowadays, I listen to music every day on the radio or on my computer.

I play music when I’m cooking or doing laundry or even when I’m reading the newspaper! The best part of having a CD collection is that they play automatically in my car whenever it’s turned on; right now they are playing the song “You’ve Got A Friend In Me” by Frank Sinatra, which makes me think of my beautiful dog.
