About This Quote

In the original version for this quote, it says: "I don't remember who said this, but there really are places in the heart you don't even know exist until you love a child." But I think its better to say what's written here below. I don't know who said this, but, quite frankly, I can't recall a single person saying it. It just seems quite true to me. One of the main reasons I am so drawn to children is that their hearts have not been filled with many of the things we fill our own hearts with.

Their hearts are still wide open and full of wonder. In fact, when I feel like my own heart is not open anymore, I usually look at a child and think how beautiful it is to be able to feel all those things again.
