We youths say “like” all the time because we mistrust reality.

About This Quote

We youths say “like” all the time because we mistrust reality. The fact that we mistrust reality lies in the fact that we don't know what this reality is. We just know that it exists and that it has something to do with us. We don't understand it and we don't know what we can do to solve the problem, so we keep saying "like." We don't know what "like" means. But we understand it as a way of saying: "I don't know what this reality is and I don't understand how I can solve the problem, so I guess I'll just trust it."
