In this quote from Carl Jung, he tells us that we must learn to know ourselves, in order to avoid self-destruction. In order for us to know ourselves, we must learn about our feelings, our thoughts and our actions.
When we do this, we start to understand why we behave the way we do and what drives us to think in certain ways. We also begin to form a plan of action for how we want to live our lives.
