About This Quote

When I was a child, my father wanted to make a better life for us. He came from a very poor family and he wanted to make a better life for his children. He worked hard and eventually became a successful businessman. He was able to accumulate a lot of wealth, which made our lives better.

However, there were some things that he didn't have money for. For example, he couldn't buy me a new pair of shoes until he had enough money saved up. My father would go back to work early in the morning and come home after dark so that he could have enough money to buy me the shoes I needed.

It's true, everything isn't about money. Some people have to shovel snow so they can feed their family and others have snow shoveling as a hobby. Money doesn't always bring happiness.
