The truth doesn’t necessarily mean that he will change his mind about something he believes in if someone proves him wrong. Instead, it means that he has a strong foundation for his beliefs.

He will not be swayed by outside opinions because he knows they don’t have all of the information. What’s more, he knows that people are sometimes wrong about things, too. That’s why the Dalai Lama is always willing to change his mind if there is solid evidence that proves him wrong about something.
