About This Quote

The quote goes through the steps of how Molly Hayes came to know of the fact that Dr. Robert Smith wore a blue fuzzy hat while digging up graves in the town of Salem, Massachusetts. The story goes like this: “One night I saw an apparition in the street. It was Dr. Robert Smith wearing a blue fuzzy hat, and he was digging into graves with human bones on his shovel.

I thought about it all night long, and when I woke up the next morning, I knew what he had done.” Although the story is about her seeing an apparition of Dr. Robert Smith in person, she did not say that she actually saw him in the act of digging human bones out of graves. She did, however, say that she saw him digging with human bones.

This means that she knew what he was doing because she had seen him do it before. It is very likely that she saw him do this at some point during the time that he was living in Salem. So then what was Dr. Robert Smith digging up graves for? Well, there are two possibilities for this: 1) He was a grave robber who dug up bodies to sell for profit or to use as medical supplies or just to have a skeleton to play with when bored. 2) He was a grave robber who dug up bodies to sell for profit or to use as medical supplies or just to have a skeleton to play with when bored and also used them when repairing roads so that the road would have an interesting texture when driving over them when driving his car or walking across them when walking from one house to another in Salem, MA in the year 1692-1693. In either case, he would still be considered a grave robber even if all he did was take out metal from cars and put it into his own car instead of taking out metal from cars and putting it into people's cars because there must be a purpose behind whatever he does.

Also, even if he took out only small amounts of metal from cars and put it into his own car, this might still cause problems because maybe metal from cars causes harm when it comes down from the sky because of its weight and size and how it could crash into things if not properly secured - especially if metal from cars fast enough could crash into things without proper securing because if someone turns on their car engine while driving through heavy traffic they might not be able to stop in time and could crash into other cars
