We pay for sins we do not remember, and seek to do a will we can scarce fathom. That is what it is, to be a god's chosen.

About This Quote

The famous quote from Shakespeare's "Julius Caesar" says, "We pay for sins we do not remember, and seek to do a will we can scarce fathom." This is a very interesting quote, because it is a combination of two things: one is the fact that we don't remember our sins, and secondly, there is a part of us that can't grasp what our own will should be. And, the reason that it's difficult to understand our own will is because we are always under the influence of other people's wills. We are all subject to the will of other people. When other people want you to do something, you end up doing it.
