Like many writers, I lived inside of books as a child.

About This Quote

When one is young, they love to read well into the night. They spend much of their time reading and when they finally put down a book, or even if they do not, they feel like they have lived in that book. It’s almost as if the world becomes a little bit more real when you put down a book and go back to your everyday life. The same can be said for writers who live in books and grow up to become authors. For them, the world is a little less real and their inspirations and ideas seem so much more important than reality itself.
