Yasushi Inoue is a Japanese writer born in Japan. He is the winner of the "Sai Naoki Literary Prize" for his novel "Tohoku-sakanaru shiroi yuki" (The White Snow: A True Story of Rebirth) and the "Kimitsu Sakuhin Prize" for his work "Shamo-no-ki no kaiso" (Shelter for the Lost: A True Story of Survival).
