Wintershluss is an independent creative director and graphic designer based in Berlin, Germany. Winshluss created the logo for the annual 3-day music festival Tomorrowland. As creative director of the event, he designed the core strategy, marketing and merchandise components for Tomorrowland, as well as a wide range of collateral marketing material. He also worked alongside artists to create a uniquely creative and edgy look and feel for Tomorrowland's live stage production. Winshluss helped launch the creative agency Factor E from its first days as a start-up, designing its visual identity and branding. Winshluss' designs have been featured in publications such as "The New York Times", "GQ", "Vogue", "Glamour", "Wired" and "Fader"
His commercial work spans a diverse cross section of clients, including Nike, Fiat, SEAT, Nike SB, Dior Homme, DKNY Jeans and H&M. He has also worked with brands such as Audi, Target and Samsung. He was a co-founder of the graphic design agency KAABAO. In 2009 he partnered with John Deere to develop a graphic identity for the company's lawn mowers.
The identity was developed through a collaboration process between two creative agencies – KAABAO and Sipps – resulting in a series of brand-specific identities that were then applied to all products produced by John Deere (mowers, ride-on mowers, attachments).
