Vsevolod Garshin is one of the most famous Russian writers. He was born in Moscow, in 1939. He graduated from Moscow State University (PhD in history). From 1965 to 1987 he worked for the newspaper "Ural" (former "Krasnoye Khvosto")
Since 1987 he works at "Moskovskie Novosti". Vsevolod Garshin has published more than twenty books. He is also an editor of several magazines, including "Moscow News" (a weekly newspaper), "Ural Review" (a monthly magazine), and "Ogonek" (a weekly magazine).
