Vikash Shrivastava is an American entrepreneur, author, public speaker and an adventurer. Vikash is the co-founder of Varangian Capital (formerly known as VC for Change), a hedge fund he previously ran alongside CEO Nick Baker.
At Varangian, Vikash's role is to build relationships with his clients and connect them to the best investment opportunities. In 2010, Varangian was selected as one of the top ten funds by "Forbes Magazine" and was awarded the Innovator Award by Damen Group. The firm was also ranked among the top 10 funds in 2011 by "The Wall Street Journal".
Vikash's first book, "The Scout: The Quest for Fortune, Adventure and a Better Way of Life", chronicles his journey from a 16-year old kid who left India to follow his passion for scouting to a multi-millionaire after he sold his stake in Varangian Capital

In 2012, Vikash founded "Shrivastava Foundation" that focuses on supporting educational causes through grants and scholarships. In 2013, he started publishing books under his name with titles such as "The Scout Who Found Fortune" and "The Scout Who Found Adventure". He has been named one of "Fortune's" 30 under 30s in 2013.
