Yearwood's first album, So Real, was released in 1991 and she went on to win Female Vocalist Of The Year honors from both the Country Music Association (CMA) and Academy of Country Music (ACM). Her self-titled album for MCA Records produced five singles all of which reached the Top Ten on Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart. Her second album, Inside Out, was released in 1993 and produced three additional Top Ten hits: "Love Without End, Amen", "Shining Through", "When I Get Where I'm Going".
Trisha Yearwood's third studio album, West Coast Choir Boy was released in 1996 and produced one additional Top Ten hit: "That's How You Know". The following year saw the release of her fourth studio effort For My Heart. The title track was released as a single that same year but failed to reach Top 40 on Billboard's Country Airplay chart.
Her fifth studio effort Emotion & Melody was released in 2000 and produced three Top 40 country singles: "I Could Not Ask For More", "You Found Me" and "When We're Together". The title track reached No. 15 on the Hot Country Songs charts that same year.
Trisha Yearwood's sixth studio effort 1000 Memories was released in 2002 and produced one Top 20 Hot Country Songs hit: "Where Were You (When The World Stopped Turning)", but failed to make an impact on Billboard's Hot 100 chart.
