Toon Hermans is a novelist, screenwriter and poet from the Netherlands. He was born in Rotterdam in 1967. He has been working as a journalist and editor since 1991. In 2002 he published his first novel, "De puist" ("The Bump"), which brought him a fair amount of success and caught the attention of the Dutch media
His second novel "Zoeken" ("Searching"), released in 2004, was even more successful. His latest novel, "De moordenaar" ("The Murderer"), was published in 2005 and has become a bestseller.
