Thomas E. Cronin was born on April 2, 1942 in the small village of Coudersport, Pennsylvania. He grew up on a farm that was also his father's law office. He attended Penn State University where he received his B.S
in Agriculture and while there he joined Beta Theta Pi Fraternity. While attending college, Thomas discovered his love for writing and started writing. He had an interest in the outdoors and spent many hours fishing, hunting, hiking, and camping with his father.
