Suzi Quatro (born Suzi Jane Hunter on February 18, 1950 in London) is an English rock and roll singer and guitarist. She is best known for her solo career as well as her time as lead guitarist of the band, The Pleasure Seekers. Quatro was born to a working-class family, and at the age of 15 joined a girl group called 'The Escorts'. Quatro played guitar and sang lead vocals, and she had become a full member by the time of their first single "Waiting for the Sun" in 1970.
