Suzanne Weyn is the author of the bestselling book, The Creative Process. At age 19, Suzanne received her bachelor's degree in music composition from UCLA. She worked as a composer, arranger, musical director, and session musician for artists such as Van Halen, Fleetwood Mac, Rod Stewart, Cher, Cherie Currie of The Runaways, Rosemary Clooney, Sammy Davis Jr., Burt Bacharach, Glen Campbell, Shirley MacLaine, Barbra Streisand, Roberta Flack and other artists. She was an associate producer on the Academy Award-winning film The Color Purple. Suzanne has written for several popular publications including Songwriters' World Magazine and The Soho Weekly News , which to this day features her weekly column “A Songwriter's Life” where she shares stories about her life as an independent songwriter.
