He is best known for his television show The Crocodile Hunter, which he hosted alongside his wife Terri Irwin. The couple were married in 1986 and had four children: Bindi, Robert, Chandler and Riley. In September 2006, Irwin was killed by a stingray while filming a documentary off the coast of Port Douglas in Queensland.
