Stephanie Cutter is currently the chief campaign strategist for Barack Obama, and was the deputy campaign manager for John Kerry in 2004. Prior to joining Senator Obama's presidential campaign, Cutter was Senior Vice President for Communications at the Center for American Progress where she helped build a national communications strategy for CAP and led its communications team in Washington. Cutter also served in the Clinton White House as Deputy Chief of Staff for Public Affairs.
