Stanislav Andreski was born in Poland. He moved to Argentina where he started his career as a journalist. In 1974 he became the director of the Argentine station of Radio Free Europe. During this time he co-founded the Association of Journalists in Argentina (Asociacion de Periodistas de Argentina) and, with several other journalists, the Center for Research and Social Action (Centro de Investigacion y Accion Social)
He was also a member of the board of directors of the International Press Institute (IPI). After his retirement from broadcasting, Stanislav Andreski devoted himself full time to research into social conflict. His books include La Guerra Civil Argentina, El Nuevo Estado y el Estado Novo y El Estado Novo en Sudamerica.
