Shawn Michaels is a professional wrestler, actor, author and motivational speaker. He is an eight-time World Champion in WWE (World Wrestling Federation) and the man who saved the company. He was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2005 and also to the Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW) Hall of Fame in 2007.

When he turned 13 he joined the Junior Olympic team for wrestling. Shawn grew up in Piedmont, North Carolina where he played football, wrestled in high school and was a member of the honor society. He attended Piedmont Community College where he majored in business management and minored in psychology.
Shawn took a job at an accounting firm after graduation until he decided to give pro wrestling a try after being inspired by Hulk Hogan's challenge at WrestleMania 2.
Shawn has been married three times. His first marriage was to Elizabeth Huberdeau from 1986 to 1988 when they divorced after she found out about his involvement with wrestling. He married his second wife Tori Von Hayes from 1989 to 1995 when they divorced after she found out about his wrestling career as well.
His third wife is Jennifer Hudson who he married in 2005 in New York City after meeting her on the set of The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement in 2004.
Shawn has two sons named Julian Michael Patrick Michaels (born March 17, 1989), who is a child actor, and Maceo Jasper Michaels (born May 4, 1996).
