Robert Gray was born in San Diego, California on July 28, 1947. He met his wife, Cheryl, at the University of Arizona where they both received their Bachelor's degrees in English. He has written several young adult novels aimed at teens as well as humorous essays for magazines such as "The Big Book of Business Quotations". His newest project is his first children's book, "Frozen Tuna Tales" published by Walker Books. Gray is the author of four grown-up novels including "The Bluffs", "The Last Great Wilderness", and "Nobody Comes to the Island".
