Robert Louis Delgado, M.D., is the Henry Luce Professor of Neuroscience, Neural Science, and Chairman of the Department of Psychiatry at Yale University School of Medicine. He is also one of the world’s leading experts on schizophrenia and has done extensive research on brain-based therapies for mental illness. He completed his postdoctoral training at the National Institute of Mental Health in Bethesda, Maryland, where he was a Research Fellow in Neuropsychopharmacology. Dr. Delgado is currently Co-Investigator on the NIH-funded study that is examining whether neurofeedback can reduce symptoms of schizophrenia.
