Richard Attias is a veteran journalist who began his career in 1967 at the Philadelphia Inquirer, where he covered the Vietnam War, civil rights, and the drug war. He became editor of The National Enquirer in 1974 and later became editor-in-chief of the National Star in Washington, D.C., where he wrote a column called "Attia's Column." A year later, he returned to Philadelphia to serve as editor of the News Journal until he retired in 2004. He also is a regular guest on television talk shows and hosts his own radio show each Sunday morning on WBCM (1590 AM).
