Prince Edward was born on the 3rd of May, 1948. He is the second child and elder son of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. He is the heir apparent to the British throne and as such is styled as "HSH Prince of Wales". Edward has been employed by the Royal Collection Trust since 1994, a role in which he assists in decision-making for works of art in the Queen's collection
