Peter Jackson is a film director and producer, best known for his work on The Lord of the Rings trilogy, The Hobbit trilogy, and King Kong. In 2007 he was awarded the Academy Award for Best Director for his film "The Return of the King". He also received two Academy Awards for "The Fellowship of the Ring" and "The Two Towers" in 2001 and 2002 respectively.
