Paul Anthony (born in 1973 in Abbeville, South Carolina) is an American poet and writer. He currently lives in Birmingham, Alabama. He is the author of two books published by University of Alabama Press: The Myth of the Negro Past (2011) and the chapbook The View From Here (2015). He has also published several poems in literary journals, including Cimarron Review, The Southern Review, and The Wisconsin Review
His poems have also appeared in Best American Poetry in 2004 and 2008.
