Paul Amadeus Dienach (born on August 4,1910 in the Upper Austrian town of Leonding) was one of the most important Austrian psychologists of the 20th century. He is known for establishing psychotherapy as a discipline and for his contributions to psychiatry. His works on the human psyche include "The World of Dreams", "On the Psychology of Dreams", "Man's Dreams", "The Drama of Life" (together with his wife, Dr. Gertrud Freund), and "The Human Mind" (in collaboration with Drs
