Patti Hansen is a bestselling author of literary fiction, nonfiction, and young adult novels. A former newspaper reporter, she has written more than thirty books, including three New York Times Bestsellers: The Nightingale, The Spirit of the House, and The Sweetness at the Bottom of the Pie. Hansen's books have been translated into fifteen languages and have been published in several countries.
