Patricia L. Steffy's novels and nonfiction books have been translated into more than twenty-five languages. Her novel, The Devil We Know, won the 1999 National Book Award; she is a recipient of the O. Henry Award and the PEN Center USA West Literature Prize
Her nonfiction work has been published in such magazines as Bon Appétit, Southern Living, and The New Yorker. Ms. Steffy has contributed articles to such national magazines as Ladies Home Journal and People.
She lives in New York City with her husband, an architect, and their two sons.
