Norman Cohn was born in London, England, attended the Royal Academy of Music, and then became a school teacher. In 1948 he moved to Israel where he worked as a music critic and broadcaster for the Israeli Broadcasting Company until his retirement in 1982. He was a member of the editorial board of "Arab-Israeli Affairs" from 1964 to 1969, and chairman of the board from 1970 to 1976. His publications include "Anti-Semitism: The Longest Hatred," "The Pursuit of the Millennium," and "The Pursuit of the Millennium II." He died on December 20, 2003.
