Muhammad Danish Adeel is a Ghanaian author, television presenter and humanitarian. He is the founder of Free Media Movement, an organisation that aims to eradicate illiteracy in Africa by creating free media centres. He was appointed by former President John Kufuor as Minister for State in the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting in Ghana in 2003. Prior to this appointment, he was the President of the Ghana Communications Commission (GCC) from 1999 to 2003
He was also appointed the first Ambassador of the African Union (AU) at the AU Summit held in Ethiopia in January 2010.
