Michael Phillip Cash is a retired U.S. Army veteran who is originally from South Carolina. He served in the Third Armored Cavalry Regiment during the Vietnam War, was honorably discharged as a Specialist 5th Class in 1970. He received a Bachelors of Science Degree in Criminal Justice from The Citadel in 1974, followed by his Masters Degree in Sociology from Western Carolina University in 1982
His career included working as a police officer, corrections officer, Chief of Police for several towns and Assistant Chief of Police for another town. He has had over twenty years experience as an author, speaker, trainer and consultant on drug trafficking and gang violence prevention efforts for the federal government, state governments and many of the nation's largest corporations.
