Michael Behe is a Professor of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at Lehigh University. He holds a B.S. in biology from Wheaton College, an M.A. in cell biology from Johns Hopkins University, and a Ph.D
in biochemistry from the University of California at Berkeley. He has published over 150 papers in the field of molecular evolution, including widely cited work on the concept of irreducible complexity, which he presented at the Wistar Institute for Medical Research in Philadelphia on March 10, 1996.
