Marie-Sabine Roger was born in Paris, France. She graduated from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux Arts in Paris, and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from The University of Virginia. She is a graduate of the Master of Arts program in Clinical Psychology at the University of Virginia and has done postdoctoral training in psychoanalytic psychotherapy with Eric Erikson. Dr
Roger has been a Director of the Center for the Study of Adult Development since its inception in 1997. The Center was founded to develop and implement an innovative, multidisciplinary approach to the study of human development and excellence in adult development.
